Miki Hamino
We've had the pleasure of meeting Miki Hamino two years ago via our favorite photographer Kent Avery. We had a photoshoot in El Matador Beach, Malibu. And instantly I loved Miki's personality and attitude. She was always smiling, positive, and open to shooting anything. Even when spectators came by to compliment her suit or her look, she graciously spoke to strangers.
After this shoot in Malibu, I believed she had the perfect look for our Zodiac collection. I wanted to promote diversity and was proud to represent Asians via Miki's beautiful yet classy modeling. I believe that there is not enough Asian representation in the entertainment industry whether it's for televison, movies, music, or fashion. When there are are Asians in the industry, they are stereotyped -- and presented in a way that isn't prevalent in our society now.
I am always rooting for Miki's success - even with all her accomplishments she has always been humble. She's booked campaigns with SIEMPRE GOLDEN, Nike, MAC cosmetics, Crocs, FitBit, was Playboy Miss March, and included as the Sports Illustrated Sweet 17. And last but not least, she was also in the Weeknd's BLINDING LIGHTS music video.
Miki we are so proud of you here at Siempre Golden. We love you and we love that you have a huge heart for saving the planet and going green. To more blessings to come! x
