This “Shy” top and frilly shoulder straps are extremely stretchy and comfortable; the top is adjustable; you can tighten the front with the two strings. The top doesn’t dig into your skin whatsoever and lays comfortably on your skin all around.
The “Shy” bottoms are frilly on the sides with a cheeky cut and perfect amount of fabric for tanning your cheeks.
The three colors “Shy” comes in are Blueberry (a light blue), Daisy (an embroidery eyelet), and Brick (a matte burnt red).
It’s very endearing when someone is shy. The shyness represents innocence, a naiveté. It’s a beautiful process when someone is reserved and then opens up with the right amount of time, care, patience, and love – similar to when a rose starts to bloom with the perfect mixture of water, air, and sunshine.
The problem these days is that people are impatient and want instant gratification. We no longer wait to get to know someone – there’s information readily available through social media, so some people make assumptions and think they know the gist of you. However, we are too complex of beings to be fully explained or shown through a media platform. Just like there aren’t sides in daily life that we show to the world, there are sides that we don’t profess on social media.
I learned this valuable lesson when I was twelve years old. My parents got in a heated argument late at night. My mom and I left the house to spend the night at a hotel. The next day, I had to go to school and act like everything was normal, when inside I felt sorrow and uncertainty. That was the moment I realized, there is no way you will ever know what is going on in someone’s life – even if they have a smile on their face. If someone is grumpy, you have no idea why they’re in a foul mood. So be kind to everyone, you do not have the slightest clue of one’s complete backstory.
